In this presentation, Sam will explore neurodiversity-affirming practice through a therapy lens, including practical considerations for assessment, communication, goal setting and intervention. She will discuss how clinicians and support professionals can adapt therapeutic environments, recognise diverse communication and sensory needs, and develop collaborative, person-led approaches that respect autonomy and focus on outcomes that are meaningful in everyday life.
