STUDY TIPS

The CEPNZ Competency Exam is designed to assess the theoretical and practical knowledge of applicants for registration with CEPNZ.

The competency standards that a Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist must demonstrate and maintain are outlined in the CEPNZ Standards document and are listed on the CEPNZ website. Applicants are encouraged to review the competency standards before sitting the exam.

The Competency exam currently consists of 80 multiple choice questions which must be completed in a two hour time period. 

STUDY MATERIALS

CEPNZ is currently developing study materials and professional development courses to assist applicants to prepare for the exam and maintain their knowledge while practicing.

The CEPNZ Examiner recommends the following texts as study materials for the Competency exam.
